So proclaims this television news report in the Philippines:

No wonder more Filipinos are coming over to work in Singapore – they can earn as much as P150,000 (~S$4500) a month working as a cartoon mascot at our integrated resorts?

The pay seems pretty good to me. How come no Singaporean takers? Anyone can shed light on this?
