Be Active with MILO!

To prepare for the delivery of baby Asher, Rachel has been going for pilates classes. This makes her very hungry and I need to feed her properly and healthily before each class.

Rachel’s appetite has been growing ever since she got pregnant. In fact, she eats more than me nowadays.

Rachel can eat all of these for lunch by herself!

She gets hunger pangs during tea break, which is about 4pm to 5pm. She needs to eat an extra 200 to 300 kcal everyday and this bar is just about 108 kcal (or 456 kJ as indicated on the package). Rachel keeps a granola bar inside her bag for her teatime snack but when we ran out and she didn’t want to get a box, I knew there was only so much granola she could eat.

Cue MILO.

Do you know the name MILO was based on a Greek mythical character MILON (Milo of Croton), who was known for his strength?

She was at first sceptical about eating MILO Energy Snack Bar With Milk, because of the chimpanzee-looking guy surfing on a wave of milk.

But these bars are made in Australia and contains the following great stuff:
– Wholegrains
– Vitamins A, B, C & D
– Nutritious goodness of MILO

She was sold after eating one bar as it made her feel satiated, like how one feels after drinking a delicious, thick mug of Milo.

There’s another great Milo product I want to endorse. You know the old Milo sachets which you tear into a mug of boiling hot water? Well, I like my Milo cold, even for breakfast. So I was delighted when I found these 3in1 EASY COOL sachets. Just pop them into a glass of water, stir and voila – you get your MILO Peng (iced MILO)! 🙂
